About these terms
This website, sembonia.com, is operated by SB Boutique Sdn. Bhd., registration number 200601022723 (742477-M), referred to as “SEMBONIA”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
Our business address is No. 62, Jalan Kilang Midah, Taman Midah, 56000 Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
These terms govern your use of our website and purchases made through it. Please read them together with our Purchasing Terms, Shipping Policy, Return Policy and Privacy Policy.
“Malaysia orders” means orders delivered within Malaysia. “International orders” means orders delivered outside Malaysia. Provisions identified for either category apply to that category.
Eligibility and information you provide
You must have legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract. You must provide accurate billing, delivery and contact information and be authorised to use your selected payment method.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Please contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
Products and availability
Products, prices and delivery availability may vary by destination. Placing an item in your shopping bag does not reserve it.
We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Screen settings may affect how colours appear. This does not affect your rights if a product is materially different from its description.
If we identify a material pricing, description or availability error affecting your order, we will contact you with the available options. We will not charge an increased price without your agreement.
Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected items.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not constitute acceptance. We accept your order when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If the confirmation covers only part of your order, acceptance applies to those items only.
We may decline an order before acceptance for a legitimate reason, including unavailable stock, unsuccessful payment, delivery restrictions or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount collected for the cancelled portion, including associated charges that no longer apply.
Prices and payments
The final payment amount and currency are displayed at checkout before you complete payment.
For Malaysia buyers: Payments are processed through Adaptis (iPay88) in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
For international buyers: Payments are processed through Airwallex. Available payment currencies are shown for selection at checkout. Your order will be charged in the currency shown in the final payment summary. Applicable import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees are collected at checkout.
Payment methods are subject to availability, provider requirements and authorisation. Your bank or payment provider may impose separate currency-conversion or cross-border transaction fees.
International delivery and import charges
International orders are delivered to supported destinations through DHL Express. Available destinations and shipping charges are displayed at checkout.
For international orders, SEMBONIA arranges payment of the applicable import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees collected at checkout so that you do not need to pay these charges separately on delivery.
If you receive an unexpected request to pay an import charge for your order, please contact Customer Service before paying so that we can investigate and resolve the request.
Customs authorities or the delivery provider may still require information from you to complete clearance. Please provide accurate information and respond promptly to legitimate requests.

Order amendments, cancellations and returns
Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to amend or cancel an order. Changes may not be possible once processing has begun or your parcel has been dispatched. Any statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.
Returns, exchanges and remedies for product problems are set out in our Return Policy. Different voluntary return arrangements may apply to Malaysia and international orders.
Where a monetary refund is due, we normally refund the original payment method in the original transaction currency. If this is not possible, we will agree an appropriate alternative. Your payment provider’s exchange rates or fees may affect the amount shown in your account currency.
Warranties and consumer rights
For Malaysia buyers: Any voluntary commercial warranty is described in our Purchasing Terms.
For international buyers: SEMBONIA does not provide a voluntary commercial warranty or ongoing repair programme.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable rights concerning defective, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
Website use and intellectual property
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, interfere with its operation, commit fraud or infringe another person’s rights.
Website content, branding, photographs and other materials belong to SEMBONIA or its licensors. You may use the website for personal shopping and retain copies of your purchase records. Other copying or commercial use requires permission unless permitted by law.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal requirements. Any such restriction does not remove your rights relating to existing purchases.
Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information.
Payment, delivery and other services may involve third-party providers. Their involvement does not remove SEMBONIA’s obligations to you as the seller.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Those websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Liability
We are responsible for losses for which we are liable under applicable law. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for business losses arising from purchases made for personal use.
Where an event beyond our reasonable control affects fulfilment, we will take reasonable steps to reduce its impact and inform you of available options. Applicable cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Malaysian law. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings that apply under the law of another relevant jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future website use and orders. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
Changes will not retrospectively reduce your rights relating to an accepted order. We encourage you to retain a copy of the terms and order confirmation applicable to your purchase.
Interpretation
For shipping or returns questions, the relevant subject-specific policy provides the detailed rules. Any applicable mandatory legal requirements prevail over inconsistent wording.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
